Jackie Wilbur

Coaching and Consulting Experience
Jackie brings more than 30 years of experience in career-development training and executive coaching to the clients of Robert Gregory Partners. She has a keen ability to both understand and work with individuals and develop effective teams, in direct alignment with the organization’s business goals. She is adept at creating and implementing an organizational development model for large organizations.

 

During her career, Jackie has worked with executives and teams across a spectrum of industries, including financial services, consumer products, management consulting, technology, healthcare/pharmaceuticals and energy. She has coached executives in positions such as managing director and senior managing director in financial services, director level in healthcare and principal and partner levels in consulting. She has taken her expertise into the C-suite in the technology industry, working with the CIO and CMO.

 

Business and Career Background
Jackie most recently served as the executive director of undergraduate and master’s programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management. In this position, she led the largest administrative unit within the school and built a highly effective team that delivered outstanding services to all stakeholders through strong cross-functional relations, collaboration and processes. She previously served as senior director of career development at Sloan, responsible for providing recruiting and career-education services for students in five master’s degree programs and 22,000 global alumni in mid-career and executive positions. She built upon earlier years in management, training and coaching capabilities working in similar capacities at other top U.S. business schools, including Georgetown University, the McDonough School of Business and Babson College.

 

Jackie again demonstrated her grasp of organizational structure as founding board member and inaugural president of the MBA Career Services Council, a non-profit, professional association with more than 300 global members. She led the board through the strategic planning process, by-laws creation and incorporation legal processes. She earned the council’s Visionary Leadership Award in 2014.

 

Education and Certification
Jackie earned her bachelor of arts in anthropology at the State University of New York at Oswego and a master of education at Northeastern University. While executive director at Sloan, she completed the MIT Leader to Leader, an institute-wide senior leadership development program. She also is MBTI certified and has experience with 360 tools, including interpretation, and with Ken Blanchard Companies Situational Leadership II tools, the PaperRoom System, the Hay Group Influence Strategies, FIRO-B and Hogan Assessment Systems.
